Cub Scout Fire Safety Day
Saturday October 15, 2016
Mack South Fire Station and Academy
(Located adjacent to Queen City Airport)
Stations to include:
Gear Station – Learn about the gear worn by modern day Firemen
First Aid – Learn how to help if someone is injured or sick
Fire Safety House – Learn about the dangers of the home
Ropes – Learn how ropes and knots build rope systems
Scuba – Learn about what a dive team does
Hose – Learn about how Firemen put out fire
Obstacle Course – Come test your skill and teamwork
Each station will be 30 minutes in length with a 30 minute lunch break- Lunch will feature demonstrations by nationally recognized Judge the arson dog
Check in time starting at 0800
Colors at 0900 / Stations start at 0930 / 15 minutes between stations for restroom and for instructors to reset the stations/End time will be at 1515
We will need some Webelos to guide groups to their locations. Webelos that attend will be able to get some requirements signed off on their First Responder pin.

Cost per Cub Scout is $7.50 (includes event patch).

Late registration accepted through October 12- no event patch will be provided.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase or bring a lunch.
