NRA Basic Shotgun

Date - Saturday March 27th 2021

Location- Camp Minsi

8am to 5pm Saturday

This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning how to shoot shotguns at moving targets. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; shotgun parts and operation; shotgun shell components; shotgun shell malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting at straight away and angled targets; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the Basics of Shotgun Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Basics of Shotgun Shooting Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate.

This is a pre-requisite for NRA Shotgun Instructor Course we are planning for soon after this class.

Cost is $50.00 per person

Lunch will not be provided, so please pack a lunch.

Class size will be limited based on the current state social distancing guidelines. Masks will be needed, the program will be outdoors as much as possible,
