Exploring is a High School career education program for young men and women who are 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15 to 20 years old.
Exploring’s purpose is to provide hands on career experiences to help young people determine if they want to pursue a certain career upon high school graduation. Exploring Posts are designed around the needs and wants of the youth.
Local community organizations and/or businesses create an Explorer Post by matching their people and program resources to career interests of young people in the community. The result is a program of activities that helps youth pursue their special career interests, grow, and develop in to mature adults. For more information, contact Senior Exploring Executive, Lori Wehr at lori.wehr@scouting.org or 610-465-8580.
An Exploring Youth application can be found at www.exploring.org. A $41 application fee is charged when joining a post.
