NOTICE: Due to concerns and uncertainty related to ongoing COVID-19 restrictions, we regret to announce that the 2021 Winter IceFest programs at Camp Minsi scheduled for February 13th have been cancelled.

We believe that this is the best decision for the safety of all our Scouts, leaders and volunteers. Although many precautions would have been taken, we believe that social distancing could not be safely maintained with an event of this size, nor could we adequately provide appropriate warming areas for everyone given the frigid conditions of February in the Pocono mountains and the increased requirements by the CDC.

We want to offer our sincere thanks to our ice fishing expert Paul Ulicny and the other volunteers who were preparing the programs for this event. If your unit is planning on camping at Camp Minsi this winter and would like to experience ice fishing, please feel free to reach out to Paul directly (pulicny@yahoo.com). As an active member of the campmaster corps at Camp Minsi. Paul is willing to help coordinate individual opportunities, demos and presentations for smaller groups at camp; however the large festival-style program we had planned is not able to happen this year.
