NRA RSO

    (Range Safety Officer)

Date - Saturday December 10th 2022

Location- Camp Trexler- Nature Lodge 

8am to 5pm Saturday

This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom, learning how inspect and understand the layout of the ranges. Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; firearm parts and operation; cartridge components; rifle malfunctions; pistol malfunctions; shooting fundamentals; range rules; cleaning; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will receive the (RSO) Range Safety Officer study guide, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, take a NRA RSO Student Examination, and receive a course completion certificate, through and online registration after the course.

Cost is $55.00 per person

Lunch will be provided, if you want anything other the water to drink please bring your own.

Class size will be limited based on the current state social distancing guidelines. Masks may be needed, the program will be indoors and we will try and get outside as much as possible, there will be no shooting as part of this class.
