The CCoS Transcript Generator is a Google Sheets-based application developed and maintained by Minsi Trails Council to assist with managing and generating College of Commissioner Science participant transcripts.
The application uses Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, and Google Apps Script to maintain course and participant records and generate individual and batch transcript documents.
What the Application Does
The CCoS Transcript Generator allows authorized users to:
- Maintain College of Commissioner Science course information and participant training records.
- Generate complete cumulative transcripts for individual participants.
- Generate transcripts in batches based on College of Commissioner Science event dates.
- Use a configurable Google Docs template for transcript formatting and branding.
- Generate PDF transcripts and save them to a designated location in Google Drive.
- Manage files and folders created or used as part of the transcript-generation process.
The application operates within the user's Google account and Google Drive environment and requires authorization to access the Google services necessary to perform these functions.
Organizations receiving a copy of the CCoS Transcript Generator are responsible for the information entered into their copy of the application and for managing access to their Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Drive files.
