1. Application
These Terms of Service apply to the CCoS Transcript Generator, a Google Sheets-based application developed and maintained by Minsi Trails Council.
The application is intended to assist organizations with maintaining College of Commissioner Science training records and generating participant transcripts.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By copying, accessing, authorizing, or using the CCoS Transcript Generator, you agree to use the application in accordance with these Terms of Service and applicable laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
3. Google Account Authorization
The CCoS Transcript Generator requires access to certain Google services in order to operate.
Users are responsible for reviewing and approving the Google permissions requested by the application. Users may revoke the application's authorization through their Google Account settings.
Revoking required permissions may prevent some or all application functions from operating.
4. User and Organization Responsibilities
Organizations and users of the CCoS Transcript Generator are responsible for:
- Ensuring that information entered into the application is accurate and appropriate.

- Managing Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Google Docs sharing permissions.

5. Copies and Configuration
The CCoS Transcript Generator may be distributed as a Google Sheets-based application that users or organizations can copy and configure for their own use.
Each organization is responsible for the configuration, data, files, permissions, and administration of its own copy.
Changes made by users to application code, configuration, templates, formulas, permissions, or other components may affect application operation.
6. Google Services
The CCoS Transcript Generator depends upon services provided by Google, including Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Apps Script, and related Google APIs.
Availability and functionality of these services are outside the control of Minsi Trails Council. Changes made by Google to its services, APIs, authorization requirements, quotas, or policies may affect application functionality.
7. Availability and Support
The CCoS Transcript Generator is provided as a tool to assist with transcript management and generation.
Minsi Trails Council does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the application. Application functionality may be changed, updated, suspended, or discontinued.
Users should verify important transcript information and generated output before relying upon or distributing it.
8. Privacy
Use of Google user data by the CCoS Transcript Generator is described in the CCoS Transcript Generator Privacy Policy.
9. Appropriate Use
Users may not use the CCoS Transcript Generator to gain unauthorized access to Google accounts, files, participant information, or other resources.
Users must comply with applicable Google terms and policies and with the policies of the organization under which they are using the application.
10. Disclaimer
The CCoS Transcript Generator is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Minsi Trails Council makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, availability, reliability, or suitability of the application for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Responsibility
Users and organizations are responsible for reviewing and maintaining their own data and generated transcripts. Minsi Trails Council is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect source data, user configuration, unauthorized changes, Google service interruptions, or modifications made to copies of the application.
12. Changes to These Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated as the CCoS Transcript Generator evolves. The effective date shown above will be updated when material changes are made.
